Ocean Full Day
The Ocean Full Day excursion lets you explore the stunning marine life and scenic beauty of São Tomé. From dolphin encounters to snorkeling in crystal-clear lagoons, this full-day adventure immerses you in the island’s unique underwater world and coastal landscapes.
Morning Dolphin Encounter
Meet your guide around 8:00 am (or earlier) and bring towels, hats, and sunscreen. We’ll embark from your preferred beach in the capital, from Lagarto to Perigosa. Our first activity is dolphin watching. Early in the morning, these magnificent creatures often come close to shore to feed, appearing in small pods or larger groups.
When the dolphins appear, get ready to enter the water! Put on your mask and snorkel to see and hear them up close. Our guides will be there to assist you and ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
Snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon
Next, we head to the Blue Lagoon, where you can either relax on the shore or dive straight in. A snorkeling coach will guide you through the basics if you’re new to the activity. Special life jackets are available upon request for extra comfort. Swim among puffer fish, octopuses, sea stars, sea snails, and, if you’re lucky, even seahorses!
Lunch Break
After a thrilling morning, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch or choose a full menu at checkout. The meal includes grilled fish, fried breadfruit, vegetable salad, and fresh fruit salad, all prepared under the supervision of a French chef.
Afternoon Relaxation and Scenic Views
Following lunch, unwind by playing card games or climbing to the lighthouse on the hill surrounded by baobab trees. From this vantage point, you’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the Blue Lagoon and its surroundings.
Cabras Island and Optional Stops
On the return trip, we visit Cabras Island, where a viewpoint near the lighthouse offers stunning vistas of the capital. "Mosquito Beach" is perfect for snorkeling despite its playful name, and adventurous guests can explore a shipwreck lying at only 10 meters deep—accessible even for non-professional divers.
