This excursion focuses on wild tropical honey, a variety very different from the honey that we ususally meet in temperate climates. Darker and liquid this honey made by wild honey bees has its own special taste.
We'll start the journey with some driving to reach the hike departure location and meet our local expert guide, himself a wild pepper harvester.
Equip yourself with sturdy shoes and a small backpack containing water and a light raincoat for our forest exploration. Preparedness is key as we delve into the heart of nature's domain, where surprises and wonders await at every turn.
We´ll search for wild bee hives in the many spots know to our expert guide, hoping to discover nature's golden treasure. ^
Then you shall witness the expertise of our guide as he prepares to harvest honey from the hives, perched high atop the trees.
Observe from a safe distance as our guide expertly extracts the fresh honey from the hives, their movements deliberate and precise. The harmony between human and nature is a sight to behold.
With a stroke of luck, we may uncover a bounty of fresh, wild honey amidst the forest canopy. The taste of pure, untamed sweetness tantalizes the senses, a testament to the beauty and abundance of the natural world.
Then we´ll recharge with a satisfying picnic lunch amidst the picturesque surroundings of the forest.
Prepare for our return journey, with the option of another hour-long hike through secluded forest paths. The tranquility of the forest envelopes us as we bid farewell to the wilderness, our hearts full with the memories of our wild honey expedition.
Weather permitting, unwind with a brief stop at a nearby beach, soaking in the tranquility of the shoreline.

START OF WILD HIKE
After a drive about 1 hour, we´ll reach the starting location.
FOREST HIKE
Get ready with suitable shoes and prepare a small backpack to carry water and a light raincoat.
MEET YOUR LUCK
Now, we'll search for wild bee hives, and if we're lucky, they might still have honey inside. Let's observe the professional as he dons his heavy equipment and climbs the tree.
