Experience the Joy of Releasing Baby Turtles into the Ocean!

Join us for an unforgettable experience where you’ll witness the wonder of sea turtles making their very first journey to the ocean. At our Incubation Center (Hatchery), you’ll meet the passionate ecoguards who are dedicated to protecting these incredible creatures. They’ll share with you the important work they do to ensure each nest is safe, giving these baby turtles the best chance at survival.

During the high season, our ecoguards carefully monitor and analyze each nest before helping these tiny hatchlings make their way to the sea. You’ll get a close-up look at their research and conservation efforts, learning fascinating details about sea turtle nesting habits, the challenges they face, and the critical role they play in our marine ecosystems.

The activity starts at about 5 pm at an Incubation Center in the Northern area. This activity can be easily added up to an Full Day Excursion (North Road), or you can just come from the capital (about 20 mn ride).

Itineraries

MEET WITH YOUR GUIDE

Meet with with your guide at the Incubation Center in the northern area (about 20 mn drive from the Capital).
You may also meet him in the Capital and give him a ride.
All arrangements to be made prior to start of activity.

This activity does not include:

• Transportation to the location of activity in the Northern area
  • In one of the three incubation centers: Morro Peixe, Micolo or Fernão Dias
