Scenic Drive and Photo Stops

This full-day excursion involves approximately 2.5 hours of driving each way from the capital. Along the way, make optional stops at the dramatic Mouth of Hell and the iconic Big Dog Peak for memorable photos.

Porto Alegre Village

After about two hours, arrive at Porto Alegre, the southernmost fishing village. Observe local life, including stands of drying fish, ruins of colonial buildings, and remnants from the Cold War era.

Nguembu Beach

Your first beach stop is Nguembu Beach, accessed via wooden stairs leading to a stunning white sand shore with breathtaking views of Rolas Island. A hillside restaurant offers a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Inhame Beach

Next, visit Inhame Beach, home to the Praia Inhame Resort with a charming beachside restaurant. Take in the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy the coastal beauty.

Lunch Options

For lunch, choose a spot on the go or pre-reserve during checkout. We may also recommend a healthy picnic with vegetable salads, cold dishes, and fresh fruits, allowing more time to relax on the beach.

Piscina Beach

After lunch, explore Piscina Beach, known for its incredible rock formations and local handicraft artists. This family-friendly beach features shallow pools with warmer waters, ideal for swimming and playing with children.

Jale Beach and Sea Turtles

For those who want to venture further, visit Jale Beach, famous for sea turtles. During the high season from November to April, you may witness baby turtles crawling to the ocean from their nests—a truly magical experience.

Van-Há Beach

Conclude the journey at Van-Há Beach, a secluded spot near the ecolodge. Access depends on low tide, offering a quiet retreat to soak up the natural beauty.

Note: The order of beach visits may vary depending on your preferences and chosen meal option. Departure back to the capital will begin before 4 PM.
